My passion for photography began over 11 years ago with taking portraits of families and children. Over the years I have photographed many weddings and other avenues of photography, but have always loved photographing families, especially children.
When my daughter was born, I realized that every day was a gift and found myself not being able to put my camera down. Children are very expressive and silly funny--small children and infants especially so. Photographing my little angel renewed my passion for capturing these special moments and made me realize that she will go through many stages in her life--from teen to adult and on and on--and in all these stages she will always have certain qualities that won't change. But when she is an infant, a toddler, and then a small child, she will only be this way once in her life and only for a very short time. I don't want to ever forget how amazing she is right now. The best way I know how to do that is to preserve this time forever through the lens of my camera.
